Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic system of healing, suitable for everyone, young and old. Homeopathic treatment focuses on enhancing an individual’s own healing ability to promote health and well-being. Treatment monitors all aspects of an individual’s life including mental, physical and emotional states. Treatment given is constantly re-assessed and adjusted to ensure a sensitive response to benefit the individual.
The scientific and philosophical foundations behind homeopathic medicine were developed by a doctor named Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. These scientific principles form the basis of successful modern homeopathic practice.
Homeopathic medicine follows several important philosophies; it recognizes that disturbances in an individuals Vital Force results in disease and sickness. The miasmatic theory is used for the understanding of chronic diseases in which deeper disturbance of the vital force occur. In addition, many homeopathic practitioners believe that suppressing symptoms through relief medication will cause an underlying distunement of vital force which is not to the benefit of an individual.
Jaynee Treon has worked closely with homeopathic medicine for several years and is a main Board Director on the Supervisory Board of the European Care Group, which is a major long term care provider in the United Kingdom to the elderly, infirm and children with specialist needs.
Come to this interesting introduction on homeopathic medicine to learn more about the principles of homeopathic medicine and its role in modern 21st century medicine.
